Kyuhee Jo and I participated in the 30th European Contest for Young Scientists held as Korean representatives and received the third core prize with €3,500. Our project was called "Building a Robust Diagnosis Model for Parkinson's Disease." Our aim was to revise the language difference of the dataset, utilizing big-scale English data and small-scale Italian data to train a Turkish classifier. To do so, we developed two machine learning algorithms and gradually increased the accuracy of the Turkish classifier from 50% to 97%. Overall, participating in EUCYS was a unique and honorable experience. I was inspired by the passion and courage of one of the brightest young minds of Europe.
